The Franken Tooth

So the next day, Jesse and my sister-in-law took little Jesse to a pediatric specialist for his tooth. They did an x-ray and it looks like the tooth bent back in between the adult teeth and didn't cause any lasting damage or obvious fractures. Then he said, Jesse Jay's tooth didn't need to be pulled. It likely will regrow all on its own and right now is the BEST time to have this type of injury. His swelling was, however, a little impressive so he put him on 10 days of antibiotics just in case.

So now, we apply an antibiotic to his tooth area twice daily. We were looking at the tooth and it appears to be growing back and coming back to life. It is the coolest and weirdest thing.

Despite all the trauma the good news is we seem to have broken him of bottles and we haven't given him a binkie since Monday. So we think we are just going to stick with it and be done. But he is eyeing Emma's binkie today like you wouldn't believe.
