We all got sick right after Toby's birthday party. Truth be told- I could feel it coming on before that, but it got bad Monday. Jesse Jay has had a runny nose, cough, and grumpiness for the past 2-3 weeks with some low grade fevers off and on for the past week.
We took both boys in this week. Toby has another ear infection. He is on a completely different antibiotic he has never been on before. If he gets another- he gets tubes. At this point it's getting towards the end of viral season so he has a good shot of not getting another in the 3-4 month time frame he needs to avoid.
Jesse Jay has a sinus infection. He is already doing much better since starting antibiotics. His naughtiness has decreased and the boogers are much less.
Jesse (Sr) also went in yesterday. No strep throat. Just a cold. I've got the same thing mixed in with seasonal allergies. All in all we are all grumpy bums. The house is becoming a disaster, but we all feel to crummy to care. What matters, is everyone is fed and bathed.
We'd appreciate your prayers to get over this quickly- we've all been feeling exceptionally crummy the past 5 days. We are all moody and sensitive at the same time. It's beautiful outside and it stinks to finally have some nice days and be quarantined. I have some fabulous coupons I need to use and can't get out and about to use them.
And Easter is coming. We want to celebrate with friends, but need to be much improved in 48 hrs.
